- • Behavior: Be respectful, no cheating, no inappropriate content
- • Termination: You can leave anytime, pro-rated refund of balance
1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Correctia, you accept these terms. If you are a minor, your parent must accept them for you.
By accessing and using Correctia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("the Terms").

- Play: Access to interactive learning activities (available to all)
- Create: Activity creation with AI chatbot assistance (reserved for 18+)
- Wallet system: Rechargeable to access activities
- Progress tracking: Statistics and performance reports
Age restrictions for AI chatbot
Important
The "Create" feature (AI chatbot) is reserved for users 18 years and older.
Educational reasons:
- AI chatbots can generate inaccurate or inappropriate content
- Requires mature critical judgment to evaluate quality
- COPPA law compliance
3. Account Creation
In brief
To use Correctia, you must create an account with accurate information. Protect your password!
3.1 Required Information
To create an account, you must provide:

- ☑ Unique username
- ☑ Birth month and year
- ☑ Secure password
- ☑ Email (required for 18+, optional for 14-17, not required for < 14)
- ☑ Parental email (required for all < 18 years)
Accurate Information Required
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Providing false information, especially about your age, may result in suspension or termination of your account.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- ☐ Keeping your password confidential
- ☐ Not sharing your account with others
- ☐ Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use
Security Tip
Use a unique password of at least 8 characters, with letters, numbers, and symbols.
4. Pricing and Payment
In brief
Each activity has a price (example: $0.50 CAD). You top up your wallet in advance. Minors cannot pay directly.

The prices below are examples and may be adjusted. Current prices are always displayed in your account and confirmed before each purchase.

4.2 Prepaid Wallet System
Correctia uses a wallet system:
- You top up your wallet in advance
- Each activity deducts its displayed price from your balance
- You can top up anytime
- Balance never expires
- Current prices are always displayed in your account before purchase
4.3 Top-up by Age

4.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. We never store your banking information.
4.5 Refunds

- ☑ Technical error: Refund or credit on a case-by-case basis
- ☑ Account deletion: Remaining balance automatically refunded if above minimum
Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days via the original payment method.
5. Usage Rules
In brief
Use Correctia respectfully and legally. No cheating, no inappropriate content, no system abuse.
5.1 Prohibited Behavior
You agree to NOT:

- ☐ Share your account with others
- ☐ Create fake accounts or lie about your age
- ☐ Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- ☐ Post offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
- ☐ Violate intellectual property of others
- ☐ Attempt to access other users' accounts
- ☐ Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
- ☐ Overload or disrupt our servers
- ☐ Use the Service for illegal purposes
⚠️ Consequences
Violation of these rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, without refund.
5.2 User-Generated Content
If you create activities (18+ only):
- ☑ You retain your copyright
- ☑ You grant Correctia a license to host and display your content
- ☑ You warrant you have rights to the content you publish
- ☐ No offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
6. Intellectual Property
In brief
Everything on Correctia (logo, interface, activities) belongs to Correctia or its creators. You cannot copy it.
6.1 Our Rights
Correctia, its logo, its interface, and all activities created by Correctia are protected by:

You cannot:
- ✗ Copy, modify, or distribute our content
- ✗ Use our name or logo without permission
- ✗ Create derivative or competing services
- ✗ Extract our content by scraping or automation
6.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited license, non-exclusive, non-transferable to:
- 👉 Access the Service for your personal use
- 👉 Play learning activities
- 👉 Create activities (if 18+)
7. Privacy and Data

The use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

8. Responsibilities and Warranties
In brief
Correctia does its best to function properly, but we don't guarantee 24/7 availability. Use at your own risk.
8.1 Service "As Is"
Correctia is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Absence of bugs or errors
- Absolute accuracy of educational content
- Guaranteed academic success
AI Chatbot
Content generated by AI ("Create" feature) may contain errors or inaccuracies. It is the user's responsibility to verify quality of created content.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Correctia shall not be liable for:
- Data loss
- Service interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Content generated by AI or other users
Maximum liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you over the last 12 months (maximum $100 CAD).
9. Termination
In brief
You can leave Correctia whenever you want. We can suspend your account if you violate the rules.
9.1 By You
You can terminate your account anytime by:
- Going to Settings → Delete account (18+)
- Contacting info@correctia.ai
- Having parent delete (< 18 years)
After termination:
- ☑ Your data will be deleted within 30 days
- ☑ Remaining balance refunded according to current policy
- ☐ You can no longer access your activities or statistics
9.2 By Us
We can suspend or terminate your account if:
- ⚠️ You violate these Terms
- ⚠️ You provide false information
- ⚠️ We detect fraudulent activity
- ⚠️ Your account is inactive for more than 2 years
In case of serious violation, termination may be immediate and without refund.
10. Changes to Terms
In brief
We may modify these Terms. You will be notified 30 days in advance by email.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In case of significant changes:

- ☐ For minors, the email will be sent to the parent
- ☐ The new terms will be published on this page
- ☐ The "Last Updated" date will be changed

Our Commitment
30 days notice for any significant change is well beyond the industry standard (7-14 days). We believe you deserve ample time to review changes and make an informed decision.
If you do not accept the new terms, you can terminate your account before they take effect.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Quebec, Canada laws. Disputes will be resolved in Montreal.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
11.1 Dispute Resolution
Before resorting to courts, we encourage you to:

- Attempt amicable resolution (30 days)
- Use mediation if necessary
12. Miscellaneous Provisions
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Correctia.
12.2 Severability
If any clause is found invalid, the other clauses remain in force.
12.3 Waiver
Failure to enforce a clause does not constitute a waiver of that clause.
12.4 Assignment
You cannot transfer these Terms to another person. We may assign them in case of merger or acquisition.
12.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, Internet outages, etc.).
